Call for participants: annual Conference of Black Sea Basin Joint Operational Programme in Istanbul - Deadline for registration: 25 November 2013

The Black Sea Basin Joint Operational Programme 2007-2013 has launched a call for participants for its 2013 Annual Conference. This year it will take place in Istanbul, Turkey, on 5 December 2013.

All those interested in finding out the latest developments in the implementation of the Black Sea Basin Joint Operational Programme and discussing the future programming period 2014-2020 are invited to attend this event.

The conference is organized by the Joint Managing Authority (the Romanian Ministry of Regional Development and Public Administration) in co-operation with the Turkish National Authority (Ministry for EU Affairs), with the support of the European Commission and the national authorities of Armenia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, and Ukraine.

The first half of the conference will focus on the added value of the Programme for the participating countries, practical implementation issues and programme management, and lessons learned from the current programming period.

The second part is dedicated to the Black Sea Basin ENI CBC programme 2014-2020. Experts of ENI CBC – Support to programmes (SPP) and the JMA will conduct an interregional consultation on the SWOT analysis of the programme area and proposed Thematic Objectives and priorities.

Eligible for the participation in this event are: representatives of national, regional and local authorities, non-Governmental Organisations, researchers and academics, representatives of mass media, European institutions and other stakeholders active in the Black Sea Basin.

The online registration will be open until 25 November 2013.

The Black Sea JOP is one of the Cross Border Cooperation Programmes funded under the European Neighborhood and Partnership Instrument (ENPI). The Programme aims to contribute to a stronger and sustainable economic and social development of the regions of the Black Sea Basin.
