Call for Proposals: The Joint Operational Programme Black Sea Basin 2014-2020/ DDL: 31st of January 2019

Cross-border cooperation on the external borders of the EU is a key priority in the European
Neighbourhood Policy and it contributes to the overall ENI objective of progress towards an area of shared prosperity and good neighbourliness between EU Member States and their
neighbours.

 

The Joint Operational Programme Black Sea Basin 2014-2020 is one of the three maritime basin
programmes established in the framework of the European Neighbourhood Instrument (ENI) 2014- 2020 – Programming document for EU support to ENI Cross-Border Cooperation (2014-2020).

 

The overall objective of the second call for proposals launched is to improve the welfare of the people in the Black Sea basin regions through sustainable growth and joint environmental protection.

 

The specific goals are:

1. Promote business and entrepreneurship within the Black Sea basin;

2. Promote coordination of environmental protection and joint reduction of marine litter in the Black Sea basin.

 

Eligible countries: Armenia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Republic of Moldova, Romania, Turkey and Ukraine (only some regions).

 

The deadline for submitting applications is the 31 January 2019, 14:00 hrs. Romania time.
